Psychosocial Adaptation of Breast Cancer Patients Based on The Roy Adaptation Model

Breast cancer is the highest type of in world 2020. Cancer treatment has side effects that patients at high risk experiencing difficulties adapting, both to themselves and psychosocially. There needs be an approach with appropriate theory direct able adapt, one them Roy Adaptation Model (RAM) by Callista Roy. The purpose this study was analyze adaptive stimuli associated psychosocial adaptation breast patients. This research a correlational method cross-sectional approach. sample used who met inclusion criteria 58 samples. Samples were taken using quota sampling. instrument modified questionnaire from previous studies. Data analysis chi-square logistic regression test. results are focal, contextual residual have relationship adaptation. Focal stimulus dominant influences OR 8.6. Nursing interventions needed support patient's abilities such as involvement clinical psychologists, providing emotional, psychological reduce impacts.
